This image shares a beautiful hadith (saying) of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about who the real poor person is, especially relevant in Ramadan.
It quotes from Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 1479).
🌙 What Does It Mean?
The Prophet ﷺ explained that the real poor person is not just someone who asks people for money.
Instead, the real poor person is:
Someone who does not have enough to meet basic needs
Whose difficult condition is not known to others
Who does not beg
Who remains dignified and patient
💭 Deep Meaning
Many people think poor means:
A person who begs in public
A person asking for charity
But Islam teaches something deeper.
There are people:
Struggling silently
Unable to pay rent, buy food, or manage expenses
But they do not ask anyone out of self-respect
They suffer quietly.
Ramadan reminds us to:
Look beyond visible poverty
Find hidden needy people
Give charity (Zakat & Sadaqah) wisely
Protect people’s dignity
🕌 Why This Is Important in Ramadan
Ramadan is the month of:
Compassion
Charity
Social responsibility
This hadith teaches us:
Do not wait only for beggars
Observe your relatives, neighbors, workers, disabled persons, widows, and unemployed youth
Help those who are silent but struggling
❤️ Moral Lesson
True poverty is:
Having need but not asking.
True generosity is:
Helping without being asked.
May Allah make us among those who recognize hidden hardship and support others with dignity. 🤲

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
