Ramadan is not only about fasting — it is about love born from fear (Taqwa) of Allah, the One God.
In Islam, fear of Allah is not terror — it is respect, awareness, and deep love that keeps the heart pure.
🌙 What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic calendar. It is the month when the Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Muslims fast from dawn to sunset to grow closer to Allah.
❤️ Emotional Love in Ramadan
1️⃣ Love Through Fear (Taqwa)
Allah says fasting is prescribed so that you may gain Taqwa (God-consciousness).
When a believer:
Avoids food even when hungry
Controls anger
Avoids bad speech
It shows love and obedience to Allah.
2️⃣ Crying in Dua
Ramadan softens the heart. Many people:
Cry while making dua
Feel regret for sins
Ask Allah for forgiveness
This emotional connection is love mixed with humility.
3️⃣ Feeling Allah is Near
In Ramadan:
Prayers feel more powerful
Qur’an touches the heart deeply
Nights feel peaceful
This creates spiritual love for Allah.
4️⃣ Fear of Losing Allah’s Mercy
Believers fear:
Missing Laylatul Qadr
Not being forgiven
Returning to old sins
This fear protects faith.
🌟 Balance Between Fear and Love
Islam teaches balance:
Too much fear → sadness
Too much hope → carelessness
Balanced fear + love → strong faith
Ramadan teaches this perfect balance.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
